Keith's Role

Keith Morris is the founder of Morris Capital Management Group of Steward Partners and is responsible for opening Steward Partners’ first office in Pennsylvania. As a wealth manager, he offers independent, objective advice with a focus on wealth accumulation and preservation. Since 1995, his goal with every client has been to develop a long-term relationship built on trust, and he believes these relationships are his most valuable assets.

Industry Background & Education

A 1992 graduate of LaSalle University, Keith began his career as a Financial Services Professional with Prudential Securities in the Fall of 1994, obtaining his securities license in March of 1995. He holds Series 7, 63, 65, 24, 31, and SIE licenses. Keith has built a fee based, consultative practice, with a client first mentality, serving Multi-generational Family Wealth, Corporate Executives, Business Owners, Collegiate Coaches, and Professional Athletes. In 2011, Keith founded Morris Capital Management Group, and in 2019 merged MCMG with Steward Partners, becoming a Managing Director and Partner, proudly opening their first Pennsylvania office in Conshohocken, PA.

Philanthropy

Keith has previously served on the boards of Inter-Community Action and Nutritional Development Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and was an Advisory Board Member of East River Bank. Currently, Keith serves as co-chair of the St. John the Baptist Capital campaign, and is a board member of the Just Win Today Foundation, a non-profit that helps Veterans reach their full potential through workforce development, mentorship, and homeless outreach services that attempt to help break down barriers and forge paths to success for those that need it most. Annually, Keith helps to raise funds for charities that are near and dear to his heart, such as Coaches vs Cancer, the Parkinson’s Foundation, and Beats for Bella.

Personal Life

Away from the office, Keith enjoys his free time with his wife Tricia, their four terrific children, Margaret, Caroline, Macie, and Matthew, and their two cats.

Fun Fact

In 1992, Keith earned a bachelor’s degree at LaSalle University, where he was a 4-year letter winner on the men’s basketball team, a three-time NCAA tournament participant, and a one-time NIT participant. He is extremely proud of the fact that his dad was his coach, the legendary Speedy Morris. He’s also not ashamed to acknowledge that nepotism may have helped him earn a spot on the team! Later, Keith spent 19 years as his dad’s assistant coach at St. Joseph’s Prep High School in Philadelphia.
